Safety Procedures

As we think about the future of health and wellness, we recognize that we are all part of a larger community of organizations, cities, and individuals taking immediate, and necessary steps to care for our well-being. The safety of our members and team members is our biggest priority.  Each of us will play an important role in making our Club a safe experience for us all. We are proud to share that we are staying committed to our environmentally safe standards while bringing the best virus-killing cleaning products to ClubFitness, Oasis Salon, Triad Laser Center, and Gate City Anesthesia.

Entering our Oak Branch and Green Valley locations has never been safer. The front desk team will sanitize the entrance door handles, desk, seating areas, phone, computer screens, keyboard, and credit card machine after each touch frequently.

  • You will be asked to take your temperature with a No Touch thermometer. Per CDC guidelines, individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees, or local guidelines, will not be permitted entry into the Clubs.
  • There is a no-contact check-in where members can self-check-in with a scan card or app. Instructions for downloading and using the ClubFitness app are here!
  • Towels will not be offered throughout the Clubs.
  • You will be required to wear a mask in all areas of the Clubs, including locker rooms.
  • Showers, saunas, and steam rooms will be available for members to use.
  • Water fountains should be used for refilling water bottles only. Please do not drink directly from the fountain.
  • We highly suggest bringing only the necessities and leaving other personal items locked in your car.
To ensure physical distancing, we will limit capacity for all Group Fitness classes. Advance booking will be required to attend all classes.

We continue to follow stringent sanitation protocols for proper disinfection, operation, and maintenance, as well as adding additional procedures to achieve a new level of cleanliness.

  • In addition to existing continuous cleaning protocols, high traffic areas in the Club will have additional disinfecting during the day and once overnight. Every team member is responsible for supporting these rigorous cleaning protocols.
  • Medical-grade, EPA-registered disinfectants which are designated effective against the COVID-19 virus with a kill time of less than one minute will be used for all continuous and deep-cleaning processes. We will also be introducing next-generation electrostatic handheld and back-pack sprayers, for use by our Maintenance team, that efficiently attack microbes, providing 3x more coverage in the same amount of time than traditional efforts. This equipment will also be used to fully disinfect lockers and Group Fitness equipment between use.
  • We will be adjusting both Clubs operating hours to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfecting overnight.
  • Team members will receive ongoing training on cleaning protocols and are provided with disinfecting kits.
  • Disinfectant wipes will be placed strategically around the Clubs.
  • Hand-sanitizing stations will be conveniently located throughout the Clubs.

We are taking careful actions to facilitate social distancing. Look for extra signs to guide you through each space and help us all practice social distancing.

  • Lockers will be available, but we ask that you maintain social distancing.
  • To help our children practice social distancing, we will dedicate other areas of the Club for Kids Camp and classes will be adjusted to be consistent with governmental orders and guidelines. Childcare will not be available until further notice.
  • Physical distancing cues are marked throughout the Clubs. Physical distancing signs will show which equipment is available for use, and signs will be placed throughout the Strength Floor to remind members to wipe down equipment before and after use and to practice physical distancing.

As we navigate the evolving realities of COVID-19, we are looking ahead to what the future will look like for us all. Our teams are working tirelessly to be ready for whatever comes next, but we will continue to update and change based on the direction provided by the CDC and federal, state, and local governments. Amenities and programs will depend on their guidance.

We appreciate your help and understanding as we continue to strive to be better than we were yesterday. This is our promise to you.
